PUSHER is the story of a small-time drug dealer named Frank (Kim Bodnia) who after having a heroin deal go wrong, find himself in massive debt to drug baron Milo (Zlatko Buric). The pressure mounts on Frank as he attempts to repay Milo.After working with the legendary author Hubert Selby Jr. (Requiem for a Dream) on the screenplay for his 2003 film Fear X, which starred John Turturro (Barton Fink) in the leading role, Nicolas returned to the PUSHER story with 2004's

PUSHER II: WITH BLOOD ON MY HANDS, which sees Mads Mikkelsen (Doctor Strange) return to his role as Tonny. Just released from prison, Tonny tries to gain the respect of his father, the Duke, a notorious gangster who has nothing but contempt for his son. As he tries to repay an old prison debt, his mistakes run him further afoul of his father.2005 heralds the release of the final film in the trilogy,

PUSHER III: I'm THE ANGEL OF DEATH. Milo, now middle-aged, is forced to contend with a new order of young hoods to move a shipment of ecstasy that arrives in place of the heroin he was expecting. In order to maintain his dominance over the Copenhagen underworld, Milo must survive one of the most harrowing days of his life.
