While the film noir movement may seem like a distinctly American phenomenon, British studios embarked on their own shadowy thrillers, laced with postwar cynicism.

This five-film collection assembles some of the lesser-known Brit Noir titles from various British studios, featuring such major talents as actors John Mills, Joan Collins, Valerie Hobson, Dennis Price and Sean Connery; and directors Lewis Gilbert, Gerald Thomas and Don Chaffey.

British Noir Volume 2 includes The Interrupted Journey (1949), Cosh Boy (1953), Time is My Enemy (1954), Time Lock (1957) and The Vicious Circle (1957).
