“What I Have Learnt From__” Exhibition Sharing & Art Reflection Workshop

The fragility of life, human resilience, grief and loss, bravery, companionship, family, love, growth, guardianship, and more...

When life throws a challenge our way, we often feel panic, anxiety, fear, and more.

Yet, by slowing down, taking a deep breath, creating space, and tuning into ourselves and our surroundings, we can discover new insights from the experience.

In response to the recent tragic fire, we've all witnessed and endured as fellow humans and art therapists, let's embrace art's transformative power. It gives us room to breathe, process, and restore colour to our lives amid the shadows of dark smoke.

“What I’ve Learnt from ...” is a reflective inner journey curated by 10 art therapists from Hong Kong.

As art therapists, we believe in the healing power of art and often encourage our clients to use art for self-expression and exploration of challenging life topics. Along the way we have witnessed its glory on how to enhance our client’s lives and promote their capacity to cope.

As art therapists we also engage in artmaking so we can have space to express, to process, and to reflect on our own life challenges.
